I have a window manager which neatly positions windows for me. Because Frame doesn't let you control its position or size this breaks.

With auto-hide, I can't tell my window manager Frame only needs half the space, for the moment I resize the layout, Frame loses focus and hides.

With auto-hide off, I honestly can't figure out how one even hides Frame short of quitting it through the menu.

I'd prefer for Frame to have a mode where it behaves like any other floating window would. Where you can move Frame around, hide, cmd+tab to, or minimize. With a normal dock icon so you can tell it's running. Even without a window manager I'd probably prefer this.
